Abstract:
This presentation will share experiences of some of the common challenges faced by Portal integration and development projects and how the approach and method has changed to mitigate these risks. The approach presented is a general iterative approach which addresses technical novelty, external dependencies and change or development of requirements. The session is suitable for program and project managers and senior technical resources (responsible for project or stream level deliverables), no specific methodology background is assumed.

Richard Shooter, Senior IT Specialist, Lotus Software Services, IBM:<br>\nRichard is a technical resource in the IBM Software Services for Lotus UK team and has led and contributed to a number of Portal 5.1 and 6.0 projects. He specialises in architecture design and implementation, and systems programming. Richard also has extensive experience in Domino/Notes, Sametime and UNIX.
