Bio:

Adam Roberts:

Adam Roberts joined IBM immediately after earning his degree two years ago and has quickly established himself as being a subject matter expert in Runtimes (formerly the Java Technology Center) for GPU exploitation and now Apache Spark. Based in Hursley, Adam is currently the team leader for Spark and will be making his first conference appearance here in Edinburgh. Adam is particularly interested in using analytics to provide meaningful insights and is looking forward to future customer engagements whereby IBM's talents can be demonstrated. Adam's background involves developing with Java and writing commercial mobile apps for Android and iOS. He's also madly in love with Linux (especially running on Z or Power) but still runs Windows on his laptop to this very day...
