Title:
RAFW / MidVision – Integrating RAFW with other tooling
Stream:
Administration & Problem Determination Tooling SIG (1)
Speakers:
David Sayers; Leigh Williamson
Abstract:
Automated middleware administration is getting easier to obtain. There are several products in the market now that deliver automated WebSphere configuration and application deployment. One of the leading products in this space is Rational Automation Framework for WebSphere (RAFW), from IBM Rational Software. RAFW has a strategy for leveraging IBM Software Group Business Partners to broaden the scope of the products it is capable of managing. In this session we will present information about how one UK based Business Partner (MidVision) is contributing to that strategy by developing a set of extensions for RAFW. We'll also deliver a brief overview of RAFW and some of the latest features added to the product this year, as well as the upcoming 4th quarter release of the product.
