Abstract:
IBM Lotus Expeditor provides a set of tools which can be used to convert existing Portal applications Client Services Applications capable of running locally on a client. This presentation will describe a real life customer scenario, that is currently in pilot, which has targeted a mobile work force and equipped them with mobile devices. (Notebooks and Tablets). Employees are able to use the corporate business portal from their mobile devices whether they are connected or disconnected. This presentation will demonstrate the many considerations that have had to be taken into account when designing distributed Portal applications.
